Academic Excellence in a Caring Christian Environment®

Since 1954, parents have trusted PCA to provide their children the foundation they need to reach their potential. A well-rounded, Biblically-based program of study emphasizes mastery of the fundamentals vital to each student’s success for years to come.

PCA students have historically averaged well above national norms on achievement tests. Last year, the school-wide average on standardized achievement tests was more than a year above grade level. Students earn these impressive scores because of what they’ve learned and how they’ve learned it; the curriculum and methods used at PCA are shown to be effective year after year.

Students at PCA are not only mastering facts, but, more importantly, exercising their individual reasoning ability. This traditional system of education stimulates the mind and builds good character, effectively preparing future leaders.

Each student is expected and encouraged to perform to his maximum potential. Decades of successful graduates have proven our teaching methods to be effective; 94% of graduates pursue higher education. At PCA, your child will be prepared to be an informed, discerning individual solidly equipped with the knowledge and critical reasoning abilities that enable success in future academic endeavors, career pursuits, and life.

Your child’s future academic success depends on a solid foundation. Since 1954, children at PCA have had fun while learning the basics—reading, writing, and numbers—and so much more! Children also develop valuable habits and social skills for a strong head start in elementary.

Whether they’re building on the strong foundation begun in PCA kindergarten, or transferring in from a different school environment, elementary students will find a warm and inviting teacher eager to meet students where they are. At PCA, the educational curriculum is designed to help the average student achieve above-average performance.

High school students engage in a college preparatory program of study with courses in physics, geometry, and foreign language. Elective courses such as music, art, computer, speech, family/consumer science, and more give each student the opportunity to study subjects of particular interest.
